Tropical Depression - Though we were anything but... This was such an easy fun gig, except that we worked every single night of the week, unless it rained - We played outside on the docks of the Ocean Key House resort hotel, at the west end of Duval street. But the money was real good at the time. These were some of the best times of my life (so far). Everyday was interesting and the climate was, well... tropical. I have a lot of respect for Elmo... he's a great Sax player. And Lance Doss (Lance, where the hell are ya man!?!?), played the guitar in the trio when I first got there. He's the one who called me about the job. I had just left Split the Dark, so I said..."OK!!" and moved to Key West. I didn't have a whole lot of pix of the band, so I put in some others too. Elmo Hooten - Saxes/Lyricon, Lance Doss - Guitars, SM - Keys.... Other versions of the trio included Jim Ward - Guitar, & Melvin ?? - Bass (sorry melvin, I forgot your last name)
