Split The Dark - 1985 - '87 - I wish I had more pictures from this time. Talk about having fun.... this was a fun gig. We were very popular in the Southeast. STD was the 1986 MTV "Basement Tapes" winner. I have a video clip of some of the press we got from this event that I had on a old VHS tape, recorded off of my TV at home back then. The quality of these 3 segments (edited by an inexperienced editor) from "Channel 6 WBRC News" (in B'ham AL) is rather poor due to age. Thanks go to WBRC Bham for the use of the broadcast - although I didn't ask them (I hope its OK) - View it here. I don't have a copy of the music video itself (wish I did) - Is there anyone out there who might have it and could make me a copy?????? I do, though, have an mp3 of the video song and a few others that were recorded in Nashville and Bham (see below). |
